Artisans using the finest materials have handcrafted your Student Services custom class ring.  To ensure that you enjoy your ring for many years to come, we suggest the following tips in caring for your ring:

• Remove your ring before washing your hands because some soaps and detergents contain abrasives, which can harm your ring and irritate your finger.

• Never wear your ring when engaging in athletics or manual labor.

• Avoid laboratory chemicals such as mercury or sulfur compounds, which will permanently damage your ring.

• All fine jewelry can tarnish under certain conditions.  If your ring tarnishes, clean it with a soft cloth and a good commercial jewelry cleaner or a little household ammonia in warm, mild soap solution.

• Your ring has been carefully sized, but the size of your finger can vary.  It is suggested that you wear your ring for at least two weeks before considering any finger size adjustments.

• The gemstone in your ring is the finest available, but a severe blow can chip or break it. 

Treat your ring with the respect you would give any fine piece of jewelry.
